THE ART GETS
THE SPOTLIGHT.
You can explore this website without creating an account, uploading a photo or sharing your location.
Website notice · updated 27 October 2026What this site asks for.
This public website has no sign-in, upload form, checkout or location request. Its own page code does not include advertising pixels, analytics tags or session-replay trackers. Videos, screenshots and fonts are served with the site rather than embedded from social platforms. The palette lab requests a published, read-only starter catalogue from the project’s Supabase service; the request sends normal connection information such as your IP address to that service. Your draft names and chosen colours are not included in that request.
What stays in your browser.
The palette lab saves drafts in local storage only when you choose “Save on this browser”. Drafts contain the name you enter, selected colours and their artwork references. They are not uploaded to a player account and do not sync to the APK. Remove drafts in the lab or clear this website’s site data in your browser. An old effects preference may remain from earlier versions; current pages do not use it.
The current site does not request phone-motion access. The former particle-heading effect has been removed.
The limits of that promise.
Loading a website still sends technical information, such as your IP address and requested pages, to the hosting and network services that deliver it. This notice does not promise anonymous browsing or set those providers’ log-retention periods.
Links to Instagram, Facebook, GitHub, MetaMask, Polygon and other external sources open services with their own privacy practices. They are links, not embedded social feeds. Outgoing links use a no-referrer policy.
Privacy questions and complaints.
This site does not maintain player profiles. For a question about information handled through this website, contact the project through its published Instagram channel. If you believe your privacy concern has not been addressed, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner explains how to make a privacy complaint. Whether the Privacy Act applies to a small business depends on its circumstances and exemptions; this website notice is not the game’s full app policy.
Before the Android game opens accounts, accepts uploads or uses location services, publish a separate app notice that names the actual data, service providers, retention and deletion controls, access and correction process, and complaint contact.
OAIC: privacy complaints ↗ · OAIC: small business privacy guidance ↗The game is a separate product.
The Android game is still in development. This website notice does not describe all of the app’s camera, location, account or community features. App-specific privacy information and controls need to be available before public release.
Our direction is straightforward: ask for permissions when a feature needs them, explain what is shared, and keep artwork and identity choices clear. These are release requirements to verify, not claims that every control is finished.
